FAQ
Sharing and long-term rental
Any questions?
In principle, every car sharing car is a rental car. In contrast to classic rental cars, you can book our sharing vehicles for as little as half an hour. And it's completely automated.
Once registered, you can rent all of our vehicles from our vehicle pool on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. The big difference to a conventional car, moped or motorcycle rental is that we have all vehicle types collected in our pool and each of our vehicles is cheaper with us. You can register online here register .
There are several reasons for this. On the one hand, we only operate electric cars that are extremely cheap to run. On the other hand, we have products in our range that are of higher quality and still cheaper than well-known brands. Of course, you benefit directly from this.
Most of our vehicles are fully insured, i.e. in the event of damage, only the deductible of 500 has to be paid. It is possible for everyone to take out additional insurance privately which covers the excess in the event of an accident, a so-called excess exclusion insurance. Allianz and Uniqua offer such packages.
Electric vehicles usually make a living from being driven because they have the great advantage that electric motors have a much longer service life than combustion engines. Wear on the tires and brakes remains, however. That is why we rent all of our vehicles according to the fair use principle , i.e. as long as it stays within a framework, you can use all vehicles without km limit .
Yes, we renew our fleet at regular intervals. Either you browse our online shop or you send us an inquiry to sales (at) wemovenow.com.

You can use the MEL45 e-moped with a signed declaration of consent from your legal guardian (mostly parents), your photo ID and a copy of your ATM card with your moped - Drive a pass if you have it for over 1 year.
The Weezl can be driven with the moped license, but the code 79.01 may be NOT noted on the back. That means a restriction to two-wheeled mopeds. Here is an overview of what can be driven with which driver's license:
- Moped (AM + Code 79.01)
- Weezl 3.0 and Weezl 4.0 ("Cabin scooter + moped car") (AM + Code 79.02)
- all above = AM (without code)
Yes.
Yes, if you have an older driver's license. For young people, the prerequisite is, in addition to 5 years of car driving license, practical training of 6 lessons / hours , which is offered at driving schools or car driving clubs (ARBÖ, ÖAMTC) in order to add the code B111 . There is no examination to be taken.
Facts MEL
Surprising and interesting.
As well as all single-track vehicles, you can park MEL anywhere and free of charge in the short-term parking zone (in Innsbruck). The StVO says that you have to park the scooter to save space, i.e. of course you can and should park across .
Since you are traveling with a maintenance-free electric scooter, we do not have any prescribed maintenance intervals.
1. After 500 - 1000 km, however, all screws should be checked to ensure that they are still tight and, especially when used in winter, parts susceptible to rust such as wheel bearings and steering head bearings should be greased.
2. Either you take a look yourself or you come by by appointment and we will check these things.
3. Brake pads should be changed depending on the wear, whereby they last 3 times as long with MEL as on other scooters due to the recuperation effect.
4. The brake fluid is usually changed every 2 - 4 years, which can be combined very well with the 1st sticker check. The 1st check is only necessary 3 years after purchase, then after 2 years and then annually.
The 1st review is due 3 years after purchase, then after 2 years and then annually .
Yes. With the highest quality batteries currently on the market, you can use MEL to drive down to -20 ° C. You should only make sure that the temperature is above 4 ° C when charging the battery.
We deliberately decided against a print version, not only because of the conservation of resources, because we have never understood the point of printing 2 cm thick paper books for simple things that describe that the key has to be put in the ignition lock and turned or how the Button with the horn symbol is the horn. MEL is intuitive to use and upon handover you will receive the little information clearly explained by our team. We will also shortly be uploading a video online explanation that includes all the important points.
Facts WEEZL
The Weezl can do a lot.
Although the Weezl has a moped license plate and is not really wider than a moped, it is considered multi-lane and can therefore be parked NOT free of charge in the short-term parking zone (in Innsbruck). However, the Weezl can be parked free of charge at the charging stations for charging purposes.
The Weezl is a vehicle that can be parked and charged outdoors even in winter. The maintenance-free lead-gel batteries guarantee charging at any temperature and of course enjoyable and protected driving. In addition, lead-gel batteries are already 100% recycled , i.e. disassembled into all its components and installed in new batteries.
The Weezl needs approx. 5 h when it is completely empty because it charges with a maximum of 800 watts . For comparison: that is half the power consumption of a kettle. Ideally, however, it should never be run completely empty because this affects the life of the battery.
The 1st review is due 3 years after purchase, then after 2 years and then annually .
Manual MEL
And it works like this.
MEL doesn't make a cm forward? Then check if everything is really ready to drive.
- Side stand: If the side stand is not folded in, an immobilizer is activated.
- Kill switch: The so-called kill switch is located on the right-hand side between the hazard warning lights and reverse gear. When this is pushed to the left, the scooter stops. Just slide it to the right and you can go on.
That means that MEL has no power. This can have the following reasons:
- Safety switch: The safety switch has jumped out. In this case, the electronics must be checked by us. Contact us immediately.
- Battery disconnected: The battery is not properly connected. Open the back seat and pull the gray connector off the battery. Try to insert the plug at an angle so that the positive pole is connected first. If the display remains black when you turn the ignition key, disconnect the battery again and plug it in again after a few seconds. Normally the error should then have been resolved.
- Battery empty: In this case you have deeply discharged the Weezl. That harms him and must not happen. In this case you pay 300.00 for the damage to the battery and take over the towing costs. Contact us immediately.
- Battery broken: If the battery is broken, the display will of course not show anything. In this case it only helps to find out the battery voltage with a measuring device.

As soon as you apply the brakes, the electric motor receives a signal that it should turn into a generator. This phenomenon is called recuperation and is of course state-of-the-art for high-quality electric vehicles. The advantage for you - every time you brake, you get energy back, which increases your range. With MEL, it helps to only press the brake levers briefly when going downhill. If you don't want that, contact us easy.
Outside of the Green Energy Center, where you can attach your MEL to the Weezl charging station with an adapter cable, you can still plug in and charge the charger connected to the battery at any Schuko socket (= household socket). For public charging stations with Schuko plugs, click here .

Bedienung Weezl
So funktioniert dein Weezl.
Your Weezl jerks strangely or doesn't drive at all? Then check if everything is really ready to drive.
- Check the handbrake: The parking brake to the right of the seat must be pushed all the way down, like on a car.
- Parking brake on the handlebar: The brake on the left side of the handlebar must be "unlocked".
- Select gear: Have you set forward gear D (drive) or reverse gear R (reverse) with the switch?
- Unplug: If the Weezl is attached to the charging station, an immobilizer is activated. Before you set off with the Weezl, you should get into the habit of staking it out.
That means that your Weezl has no electricity. This can have the following reasons:
- Circuit breaker: Somebody turned off the circuit breaker. Open the charging cap and switch the blue fuse switch to "ON". Should it fall out again when starting, contact us immediately.
- Backup: The backup in the Weezl is through. Contact us immediately.
- Battery empty: In this case you have deeply discharged the Weezl. That harms him and must not happen. In this case you pay 300.00 for the damage to the battery and take over the towing costs. Contact us immediately.

If the door handle no longer opens the Weezl, the mechanical connecting rod may have come loose. But that's not too bad. When you're in the Weezl, open the window and open the door from the outside. Alternatively, you can use the other door to get in and out. Contact us immediately.
